Wild Berry Sauce

3 tbsp butter

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 orange, sliced

1 (10 oz) can beef gravy

3 tbsp sherry

1/2 cup fresh or canned cranberries, currants, etc.

dash cayenne

dash cinnamon

Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar until melted, then add orange slices,

rind and all. Cook about 2 minutes. Add beef gravy and sherry and cook

slowly for 5 minutes. Strain and pour liquid back into the saucepan.

Stir in berries, cayenne, cinnamon and simmer for 5 minutes longer.
