Virginia's Apple Crisp
FILLING
8 cups sliced apples
1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 Tablespoon lemon juice
Mix until well coated. Put in 2 quart baking dish.
TOPPING
1/4 lb butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar.
Mix topping ingredients together, until crumbly. Spoon over apples.
Bake 45 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
For a sugar free, healthier recipe, replace sugar with SPLENDA brand sugar substitute.
For a low fat, healthier recipe, replace butter with a low lat or fat free butter substitute.
