Turkey Broccoli Bake
2 (10 oz) packages frozen chopped broccoli
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups milk
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 cups cooked turken cut in strips
3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp melted butter
Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain thoroughly.
Place broccoli in an 8 inch round baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon
juice. In saucepan melt the 2 tbsp butter. Blend in the flour and salt.
Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat; stir in Swiss cheese until melted. Stir in turkey strips.
Spoon turkey mixture over broccoli in baking dish. Combine bread crumbs,
Parmesan and the melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at
350 degrees until hot, 20-25 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
