Sweet and Sour Corn Relish
8 cups corn kernels
4 cups cabbage, shredded
1 cup diced celery
1 medium sweet red pepper, diced
2 tbsp salt
2 cups brown sugar
1 quarts vinegar
1/4 cup dry mustard
1 tbsp turmeric
In a large pot mix all ingredients except turmeric. Bring to a boil.
Then simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add turmeric; simmer
for 5 minutes .Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal at once.
