Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls
1 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups sourdough starter
4-6 cups flour

Raisins
Add butter, sugar and salt to scalded milk. When lukewarm add sourdough starter.
Also add baking soda which has been dissolved in a little hot water.
Mix flour in until it can be kneaded easily. Knead until smooth; place in a greased
dish to rise. When double in bulk, punch down and roll out into a large rectangle.
Spread with butter, cinnamon, sugar and raisins, if desired. Roll up and cut into
1 inch slices.
Mix the following together in a saucepan, over low heat:
1/4 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup honey or corn syrup.
Place the rolls in a pan which has been coated with the this heated mixture.
Let rise again until double in bulk. Bake 15-20 minutes in a preheated 375
degree oven.
