Salsa Dip
2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
juice of one lemon
2 tablespoons medium salsa
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Tabasco sauce to taste (if desired)
2 cups shredded Jack or cheddar cheese
10 to 12 chopped olives
1 bunch chopped scallions
1 cup chopped tomatoes
Mashed the avocados with the lemon juice. Spread over the bottom of a 7 by 11 glass dish.
Drain the salsa and mix with the sour cream, mayonnaise, and Tabasco sauce.
Spread this mixture on top of the avocados. Sprinkle the cheese, chopped olives, onions
and tomatoes over the top of the salsa mixture. Serve with chips, crackers, pretzels, or raw
vegetables
