Rum Balls

2 (12 oz) boxed vanilla wafers, finely crushed

2 cups cocoa

8 tbsp light corn syrup

1 cup dark rum

1 cup bourbon

5 cups confectioner's sugar

1 tsp slat

6 cups chopped pecans or walnuts

Day before, combine wafers and cocoa. Stir in corn syrup,

rum, bourbon, 4 cups of the sugar, salt and nuts. Roll into

1 inch balls. Roll balls in remaining sugar. Let stand overnight.

Next day, store in a tightly closed container.
