Reindeer Scallopini
2 lbs tender reindeer steak, cut into 1x1x4 strips
Bacon grease
1 cup beef bouillon
1 thinly sliced onion
1 cup chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp basil
1 cup wild or canned mushrooms
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Brown meat in bacon grease until done on all sides.
Pour off excess fat; add remaining ingredients and simmer,
covered while you fix the rest of you dinner.
Serve on rice or noodles.
