Reindeer Curry

3 lbs reindeer stew meat

Bacon grease

1 qt water

1 large sliced onion

1 cup wild mushrooms

1 cup chopped green pepper

2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 cup thinly sliced celery stalks

1 tsp ground ginger

2 tbsp ground curry, if you have never used curry before
go gently and build up your tolerance

Brown meat in bacon grease; add water, onion, pepper and seasonings.

Stew until meat is tender. Add celery 10 minutes before serving. Thicken

with the cornstarch. Serve with mashed potatoes, noodles, rice.

This is extra special with small peanuts or salted coconut chips sprinkled on top.
