Quick and Easy Buttermilk Biscuits
2 cups self rising flour
1/4 cup flour for rolling
1/8 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a glass pan. Mix flour and soda, add buttermilk
and stir to mix. Dough will be very soft. Put 1/4 cup flour on rolling surface.
Pat flour on top of dough. then cut out biscuits with a circle cutter. Place in greased pan,
slightly grease top of biscuits. Bake 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
The secret to these biscuits is the faster you get them from the bowl to the oven
the better, as this is very quick rising dough.
