Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

 

1 cup smooth or chunky peanut butter

6 tbsp butter or margarine, softened

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 eggs

1 cup all purpose flour

2 cups milk chocolate chips, divided

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9" baking pan. In a large bowl,

beat together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar granulated sugar and

vanilla until creamy. Beat in eggs; beat in flour. Stir in 3/4 cup chocolate chips.

Spread in prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until edges are

lightly browned. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with remaining morels.

Let stand for 5 minutes; spread. Cool in pan on wire rack.

Note: Decrease the sugar in the recipe by substituting granulated and brown sugar

with Splenda brand sugar substitute.

Decrease the fat content by using fat free peanut butter and butter substitute
