Moose Swiss Steak
1 1/2 pounds
round, sirloin or flank steak
1-1 1/2 inch thick
Flour, salt and ground black pepper
1 large onion
1 cup sour cream
Cut meat into bite size pieces. Pound flour into both sides of steak.
Brown in hot oil. Salt and pepper well. Place in a casserole and
slice onion on top. Spoon sour cream over all. Add water to meat level
and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours or more, keeping covered all the time.
