How to Roast Garlic
Peel the outside skins of the garlic bulb with your fingers. Cut off the
top 1/4 of the garlic bulb with a sharp knife. Pour a small amount of
olive oil on top. Place in a garlic roaster or small covered casserole
dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Keep roasted garlic
in the refrigerator for use throughout the week.
Roasted garlic is delicious spread on thick slices of homemade bread,
and served with soups, salads or Italian main meals.
