Hamburg Vegetable Bake

3/4 lb ground beef

1 tbsp onion, minced

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 egg

1/3 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup water

8 carrots, peeled and cut into slices

8 onions, sliced

8 potatoes, peeled and sliced

1 can ( 4 oz) mushrooms

2 cans beef gravy

1 tsp fresh parsley

Mix the beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, egg and bread crumbs

into small balls and brown in 3 tbsp vegetable oil. Remove to a casserole dish.

Boil potatoes, onions and carrots for 15 minutes. Add the drained vegetables to the

casserole. Add the mushrooms and the 2 cans beef gravy. Sprinkle with parsley and

bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
