Grilled Ginger Lime Fish Steaks
Another low carb, delicious recipe
1/3 cup lime juice
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger or 1 tsp ground ginger
4 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
4 1- inch thick fish steaks (about 1 1/4 lbs) such
as swordfish, tuna, shark, salmon
In a shallow glass dish, combine lime juice, soy sauce,
olive oil, garlic, honey, ginger and cilantro. Place fish in dish
and turn to coat with marinade. Cover and refrigerate until coals
are ready. Oil grid to prevent sticking. On covered grill, over medium
hot briquettes, grill fish steaks about 10 minutes, or until they flake
easily with a fork, turning once, halfway through cooking time.
