English Butter Toffee

1 cup butter, unsalted

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon corn syrup or honey

3 tablespoons water

1 cup nuts in (pecans)

1 1/2 to 2 cups chocolate chips

Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Add butter, sugar, water

and honey together in the baking pan. Stir constantly for five to 10 minutes

until mixture reaches 290 degrees and starts to caramelize. Pour sugar mixture

over nuts and top with chocolate chips. Wait five minutes and spread chocolate

evenly over top. Let Toffee cool for 30 minutes.

Break into serving size pieces and enjoy.
