Edible Flubber
Perfect for children's parties
Pick out a mold in the shape that you would like your flubber
to be. You can use bowls, cookie cutters or specialty molds
like the ones I use.
Before I bought the molds pictured here, I used a hallowed out
cantaloupe melon. Remove all the seeds and some of the fruit.
Scooping the melon out with a spoon, makes a funny mold.
2 (6oz) boxes of green jello
2 1/2 cups of boiling water
1 tsp cooking oil
After choosing your mold, take a paper towel and put coat it
with a small amount of oil or non stick cooking spray.
Empty the gelatin into a large bowl. Carefully pour the hot water into
the bowl and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Pour the gelatin into your
mold, and stir until the gelatin dissolve. Pour the gelatin into your
mold, and leave it in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, remove
your mold from the refrigerator, and carefully turn it upside down onto
a plate.
