Casserole of Venison Steaks
4 venison steaks
1 medium onion, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Thyme
Marjoram
Garlic powder
1 egg, lightly beaten
Cornflake crumbs
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup boiling water
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Rub steaks with a pinch of salt, pepper, thyme
marjoram and garlic powder. Dip in egg and roll in crumbs. Heat oil in a skillet;
brown steaks on both sides over high heat. Put steaks in a casserole dish. Add
remaining ingredients; cover; bake for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
