Caribou Round Steak

1 1/2 lb round steak, 1 inch thick

Bacon grease

Salt and pepper

1 medium onion

1/2 cup fresh mushrooms

Cut meat into serving size pieces. Pound flour into both sides; brown well in

hot bacon grease. Place an onion slice on each piece; cover and cook slowly

for 1 hour. Just before serving sprinkle mushroom slices on top and heat.

Serve at once.
