Barbecued Spareribs
1/3 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sweet sherry
1/3 cup chili sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp horseradish
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp tabasco sauce
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup honey
2 tsp salt
5 lbs spareribs
Preheat boiler. To prepare sauce, combine all ingredients except spareribs.
Bring to boil over high heat; set aside. Arrange ribs on broiler pan; brown well
on both sides. Drain off fat; reduce broiler heat. Pour sauce over ribs.
Broil for 30 minutes, basting frequently with sauce and turning occasionally.
