24 Hour Cole Slaw

2 small onions, sliced or chopped

1 medium sized cabbage, shredded

Place in a bowl in alternate layers and sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over this.

1 cup vinegar

1 tsp celery seed

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp prepared mustard

Bring these four ingredients to a boils, add 3/4 cup of salad oil

and oil again; cool. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and let stand

in refrigerator for 24 hours. This recipe keeps well.
