Ways to Get Out of the Kitchen Fast

This is especially important when you
have guests or are serving holiday meals

1. Before trying a new recipe, read it all the way through. NO surprises!

2. Take inventory, Avoid last minute trips to the store by stocking up all at once.

3.Collect recipes that can be made ahead, then heated at serving time.

4.Shredding cheese: For easy cleanup, do it over a sheet of waxed paper.

5.Cooking for a crowd? Let someone else do the prep work. Look for family
size packs of skinless, boneless chicken breasts and bags of ready made
salad.

6.When baking, measure out all ingredients first, then mix together.

7. Clean as you go. Wipe up drips and splashes as soon as they occur.

8. Use your microwave to soften butter, thaw frozen vegetables and warm up desserts

9. Double up. When you make a recipe, double it.
Freeze half for nights when there is no time to cook.

10. Cook what you love! It's not work when you do.

11. Slice vegetables for salads and stir fries in advance. You can keep them fresh and
crips three to four days by wrapping them in white paper towels, then refrigerating them
in self sealing plastic bags.
